Vinyl & Physical Product Coordination
Complete coordination of vinyl and physical releases, from masters to finished stock.
Physical product has returned as a premium format and a collector’s statement, but producing it well involves a dozen specialties. This service coordinates the entire process for your label: format and configuration decisions, audio preparation for vinyl mastering, artwork and packaging specifications, manufacturer selection and scheduling, test-pressing review, and the retail and direct-to-fan sales plan for the finished stock.
Timelines are managed honestly — pressing plants run on real-world lead times, and we build the schedule backward from your release date so physical product lands when the campaign needs it, not months after. Quality control checkpoints protect against the errors that make physical releases expensive: wrong masters, misprinted credits, color and packaging mismatches.
Coordination is managed personally by Ruben Burgos, the Architect & Founder of UMG, who reviews specifications and approvals at every checkpoint himself. His publisher’s attention to physical detail — the same care he brings to printed books — means your vinyl arrives as an artifact worthy of the music and the collector paying for it.
The Objective
To deliver physical releases that arrive on time, look and sound right, and sell through profitably. The goal is collectible product that deepens fan loyalty and strengthens your label’s reputation for quality.
