Compilation & Collaborative Release Projects
Compilation and collaboration concepts that unite your roster and expand its reach.
Compilations and collaborative projects let a label be greater than the sum of its roster. This service conceives and coordinates label compilations, themed collections, remix projects, and cross-artist collaborations: creative concept, track selection and sequencing, artist pairing strategy, clearance and split documentation, artwork and campaign integration, and the release plan that makes the project an event rather than a bundle.
Projects are designed to do strategic work — introducing newer signings alongside established names, entering a genre conversation, serving a seasonal or cultural moment, or giving catalog tracks new life beside new recordings. Each participating artist’s audience is deliberately exposed to the others, with content and social plans that carry listeners across the roster.
Concepts and coordination come directly from Ruben Burgos, UMG’s Architect & Founder, who personally shapes the creative premise and manages the moving parts. His authorship keeps the project coherent across many artists and gives every participant confidence that the whole serves their individual interests too.
The Objective
To build roster-wide projects that grow every participating artist’s audience simultaneously. The goal is a label identity listeners follow in its own right — fans of the label, not only of individual acts.
