Performance Royalty & PRO Registration Guidance
Guided registration of your songs with performance rights organizations so your royalties are collected.
Every time your music is performed publicly — radio, television, live venues, streaming — performance royalties are generated, but only properly registered songs get paid. This service guides you through affiliating with a performance rights organization and registering your catalog correctly.
The guidance covers writer and publisher information, work registration details, split documentation, and how to check that live performances and recordings are properly reported. Existing catalogs are reviewed for unregistered or incorrectly registered works that may be leaving money uncollected.
Registration guidance is personally provided by Ruben Burgos, Architect & Founder of UMG Network Collective, as part of his commitment to artists understanding their own business. You finish the process knowing your catalog is documented and your collection pipeline is open.
The Objective
To ensure every song in the artist’s catalog is registered to collect the performance royalties it generates. The objective is no money left on the table due to paperwork.
