This coaching service develops genuine open-format versatility: reading diverse crowds, moving between hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, soca, Latin, house, disco, pop, and classics with musical logic, and building the crates, edits, and transition techniques that make genre-hopping sound effortless rather than random.
Coaching is built around your real bookings and ambitions — wedding and corporate readiness, lounge and brunch formats, multi-generational rooms — with honest review of your sets and practical exercises that expand your instincts. Versatility here does not mean blandness: the goal is a wider range with your signature still audible in every direction.
Sessions are coached personally by Ruben Burgos, the Architect & Founder of UMG Network Collective, whose New York roots mean fluency in the city’s true multi-genre dance floors. His ear for what different crowds demand sharpens yours set by set.
