Test Shoot Coordination with Photographers
Organized test shoots with vetted photographers to build your book with fresh, directed material.
Test shoots — collaborative sessions where models and photographers build portfolio material together — are how working models keep their books current. This service coordinates them properly: photographers are selected for the style your portfolio needs, concepts are agreed in advance, and the practical terms are settled before anyone picks up a camera — image usage, delivery timelines, retouching expectations, and crediting.
On the day, the session is directed toward specific portfolio goals rather than random shooting, so the images fill genuine gaps: a missing beauty look, an untested editorial direction, a commercial mood your book lacks. Afterward, selects are reviewed with you and the strongest frames are finished and placed into your portfolio and submission materials.
Test shoot coordination is personally delivered by Ruben Burgos, the Architect & Founder of UMG Network Collective, who arranges your sessions, sets their objectives, and reviews the results with you himself. Done regularly, testing keeps your book evolving, your skills sharp, and your relationships with working photographers growing — three assets every serious model needs.
The Objective
To build the model’s portfolio continuously through organized, goal-directed test shoots. The objective is fresh, relevant imagery and professional relationships that compound over a career.
